Things You Don't Know About Me

Well first my name is Jahdia , And I am a 9th grade freshmen at Design Lab High School. There are some things that you don't know about me, Well first I have 8 siblings but if don't know I am adopted I do feel comfortable being adopted because it really feel different. But all my siblings name are from youngest to oldest, Is Giovani, Kimora, Paradise, Jahdia( included me) , Autumn, Ahamad, Andre, and finally my sister Endia. These are my all my sisters and brothers name but the other thing you don't know about is that I am creative, unique , friendly, funny, crazy, and smart. 

But I do like school because i do like taking my education serious school do comes first in my life because I want become successful and graduate and move forward to high school.  But if you want to know more about please leave comment on my blog!!

2015-2016 The Past Quarter

What I have learned in my classes this past quarter is that I need to do much better than the past quarter, And I also need to achieve my goal before the school end of the school year, But what i truly learned from the past quarter is that we basically just review things that we learned from 7th-8th grade year. But what I learned about myself that I need to come to school more and have the ability use my concentration to work on my work /assignments and also achieve my goals by the end of the school year. My grades had got from the past quarter  I do think  I deserved the grades I have work hard to get these grades but I do not know what is the grades on my report quarter this past quarter because we have not got them yet. How I am going to use my knowledge about myself to change/ better about my study habits and my grades in the future.... Is by achieving my goals and focusing on my work at all time and trying to get better grades , And don't give up because it not going give me in life. But what I could have done differently this past quarter is that I could have achieve one of my goals. Basically I really don't want to see anything change from the teachers because I think they are doing a wonderful , powerful, and amazing job by teaching us properly. How I think the next quarter will look for me when I change my habits and my ways that i will have a better quarter and better grades and do my work that i am assign to but ...I want my quarter to be different from this past quarter. I do anticipate BETTER results.

Robotics

Robotics

The steps i have done so far for this project is that me and my partner had finally got the wheels on the robot, because we ask for help, cause we was very behind but guess what we had ask for help. Yes I have start building and we have robotics every Wednesday ....But when we first started building we was kind of confused but now as we look at out robotics manual we finally got ahead for the project because next Wednesday we are going to program our robot. The steps for this project is challenging and i like that because it some different and we got figure things out by ourselves. No i rather not work alone because working by yourself you probably never get anything done. How i can make better use is that come to school every Wednesday because my partner works alone without me and she need all my help. How i can make better com with my partner is by showing her that i can work with someone like her and also show her that i can show up every Wednesday for robotics. Why i think robotics is important me because i never work any tools like this and never made a robot and my whole entire life but working with robot is powerful because i getting know something different.  

The Maker Space Experience

 

All About The Maker Space Experience 

   The experience about the Maker Space have been a great challenge for me because I never work with tools or wood before and being and the Maker Space with people is like a team because we are working hard to complete every challenge or design. The things I like and the Maker Space is working with the tools that I never work with before and trying new things. Why i like working with tools is because it is a good experience in life and why I like to try news things is because it is always interested to try something new. I never did anything similar to this experience because i didn't like working with tools or wood cause i thought it was very dangerous for me too use any of them materials. What I am learning in the maker space is that if you work as a team/group it will get you somewhere but i am focusing on designing and the materials i should use before any challenge or project. The academic skills I am using while working and the Maker Space is strength and patience. This the is my experience about the Maker Space At Design Lab!

Ingenuity Festival

What I Think About The Ingenuity Festival 

     Design Lab has been recruited to be and a Annual Ingenuity Festival. Many people over the world will see our talent and our effort we put to this challenge. A Ingenuity Festival is the quality of being clever, original, and inventive. What I could find out about this Ingenuity Festival is that i might finds things that i didnt know about the festival or maybe i might finds things that are interested to see at the festival. How the Ingenuity Festival will help our city it will become more popular and more people will might will like are design and our talent. How the festival will impact our work by the using our items and people looking at the design. And people might use items to show the world how we are creative and talented but other than that design lab is the only one doing this challenge to make are school better. We need the materials, skills, information to make a great design for this challenge. The most exciting part bout building a stage and a seating area is that the people will actually use the design. I really feel proud of myself about doing this challenge because i never build a design like this to people out and the world. I am not worried or concerned about this challenge cause i believe and myself that i can do this challenge.
